The Faine House
Can you imagine something as simple as a birthday changing your whole life? If you’re a foster child, turning 18 can be devastating. You’ve “aged out” at that point and can be facing a life of homelessness, uncertainty and despair.
For more than a decade, The Faine House has been a place of refuge for young adults who find themselves in this situation. For many, that means a chance to finish high school and attend college, learn a trade, find steady employment, and become an independent, productive member of their community.
Founded by Jeff Faine, an NFL veteran and successful business owner who was adopted himself, The Faine House is a 7,000 square-foot home with private bedroom suites for up to 10 young adults aged 18-23. In addition to safe housing, The Faine House provides food, life skills counseling, mentorship, educational and occupational opportunities, and assistance with transportation needs. The programming is focused on the individual’s well being and designed to help them transition into becoming a successful adult.
From branding to fundraiser event marketing to website design and development, TKO has been fortunate to have supported and worked with The Faine House as they provide vital resources for these young adults in Central Florida.
